Volunteer Impact

Your time is a vital resource to the Mendo Food Network!

In 2025, 245 volunteers donated approximately 23,000 hours to the Fort Bragg Food Bank and Mendo Food Network.

Our volunteers are essential to our programs, including Fort Bragg Food Bank Choice Pantry, Curb-Side Distribution, and Kids Bags, Grab n' Go, and Senior Box Distributions. Volunteers also pack bags at our Willits warehouse and run pop-ups in Albion, Leggett, Laytonville, Covelo, and Willits. They also help at events like community tabling opportunities, the Blues Festival, and other fundraising events.

In 2025, the MFN served nearly 18,000 individuals, 20% of the population of Mendocino County, over 2.6 million pounds of food.

With a staff of only 12, it would be impossible for the MFN to serve the county at the scale we do without our volunteers. Volunteer your time to make a huge impact on your neighbors and community!

Other Ways To Support Us

Not able to volunteer? No problem, you can still help!

If you're unable to support Mendo Food Network with volunteer hours or monetary donations, you can still help by spreading the word about our mission, hosting a food drive, or advocating for local food security initiatives. Every effort, no matter how small, makes a significant difference in our fight against hunger. Thank you for your time, energy and effort!
