Food drives help us thrive!

It may surprise you how the Mendo Food Network gets the food we distribute throughout the county. From California food programs that distribute food to organizations throughout the state, to connections with local farmers, grocery stores, and other organizations, the Mendo Food Network constantly receives and redistributes thousands of pounds of food. We also have a budget for food to supplement our supplies, making sure the food we distribute is fresh, healthy, and making those who need it happy!

However, perhaps the most rewarding source of food comes from you, our community. Pictured is the Altria Group, who just held a food drive for the Willits community and gathered 350 pounds of food!

Food drives are an excellent source of food that lets the community know you care.
