Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon

With over 40 volunteers in attendance, we had a great gathering of many but not all of our dedicated volunteers. Thank you to Round Table for hosting such a fun event.

Selfies!
Volunteers of all ages!

It was such an honor to be in the presence of so many hardworking and dedicated volunteers. This last year, our organization had 225 volunteers who gave their time, combining efforts for nearly 11,000 hours!

Today the value of one hour of volunteer work is $31.80 an hour

That's a measured economic impact of $334,910k

Thank you for being adaptable,

having such a great attitude,

and most of all for lifting the spirits of others.

This event would not have happened without the hard work of Tricia

I really want to extend my gratitude to someone I think you all know.

Thank you, Tricia. Thank you for your heart, your commitment, and your spirit. It is truly a joy to work alongside you and to see the team blossom here at the Fort Bragg Food Bank. It is rare that you are not in motion. Your energy is captivating and infectious.

Thank you for all you do.

Food ACCESS 24

Members of our team traveled all the way to our State Capital for Food ACCESS 24 hosted by California Association of Food Banks @cafoodbanks where we were able to pull up a seat to the table with other Food Bankers from across California.

Enhancing Deliveries with Our New Truck at Mendo Food Network

After a long two-year wait, our new refrigerated truck arrived! With a Food Bank Capacity grant through the California Department of Social Services, this addition to our fleet helps us better serve our community. We now have the ability to have a coastal and an inland route throughout Mendocino County. This makes high-quality, locally-grown food more accessible to our food distribution partners. Allowing us to source more food and distribute it more efficiently while eliminating unnecessary waste. We're excited to see how this addition will foster stronger community connections."
